Cranberry Apple Crisp
A tart twist on an old favorite.
Filling:
3 cups cranberries |
2 large apples, chopped |
⅓ cup sugar |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |

Topping:
¾ cup rolled oats

3 tablespoons flour |
½ cup chopped pecans (optional) |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |

Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine cranberries, apples, sugar, 1 Tbsp flour and cinnamon. Mix and place into baking dish.
Combine remaining flour, brown sugar, oats, and nuts and mix. Add butter and stir until crumbly. spread over the fruit mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
