Twenty-five years ago Stephen Miller opened the Stephen Miller Gallery after 40 years of experience in his hometown in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Stephen Miller Gallery has been dedicated to selling hand-woven oriental rugs that have ranged from antique to the, now more popular, contemporary rugs. Miller works with the carpet producers themselves varying from various cultures such as India, Turkey, and Pakistan, and strives to not only build great relationships with his clients and producers but also satisfy his art drive with the various designs that he sees.
Throughout the years, Miller has continued his business due to his interest in the East Asian Cultures as well as the artistic component of the business. Miller also appreciates the impact that a well-designed rug brings to one’s home. His admiration for selling rugs has failed to diminish due to the transformation that the rugs have gone through over the years.
