challenging our youth to be
FEARLESS for Christ
|
On Saturday November 4, over 80 students and leaders from 10 churches gathered at North Nixa Baptist for TCBA's
DiscipleNow Saturday.
Using events from David's life, John Paul Basham, student ministry specialist from Lifeway Christian Resources, challenged our youth to be FEARLESS for God! Wonderful worship led by BREAKAWAY from BBC, Bubble-Ball and great food provided by NNBC...a great way to spend an early November Saturday! Students got closer to Jesus, thanks to our Tri-County churches investing in the souls of our young people!

learning to "rightly handle"
the power of God's word
|
On October 21 at TCBA's ministry center, Pastor Hosea Bilyeu led TCBA pastors and laymen in the "Biblical Preacher's Workshop", discovering how to develop biblically-sound sermons that will impact lives and our churches with the power of God's word.

Jesus is Lord...
especially on Halloween!
TCBA churches get very creative in finding ways to share the Gospel! Churches large and small used Halloween to share Jesus, by hosting Fall Festivals and "trunk-or-treats"... Hopedale in Ozark (left) and Ozark Mountain Community Church in Blue Eye (below) were among the churches that hosted trunk-or-treats...

Bridge of Faith in Rockaway Beach had a great time with their Fall Festival... First Baptist Nixa handed out
church and AWANA invites and a Gospel of John to every family that came!

|
TCBA's evangelistic block party trailer helped attract unchurched people to our churches, where they saw Jesus's love in action.

God is still calling men to preach His word!
In October, First Baptist Crane licensed Brother Lee Walston to preach the Gospel. Dr. Pat Ward of FBC Crane presents the certificate while Lee's wife Lisha looks on. Lee is completing on-line studies at Liberty University and has been preaching at Ponce de Leon Baptist Church.

TCBA Hurricane Harvey relief update
What an amazing outpouring of love from our churches in response to Hurricane Harvey! To date the total received from our churches: $12,282.31. Half of these funds go to the Blanco Baptist Association to assist their churches and pastors, and half is being directed to FBC Houston for flood recovery.

Monday, November 13 7:00 pm TCBA office
Between Annual Meetings, the association is governed by the Executive Board, comprised of
- the pastor of each church and
- one other person elected by the congregation.
Executive Board members extend God’s Kingdom beyond the four walls of their church into our three counties and beyond. Members of TCBA’s Executive Board have a say in how the association functions, and play an important role in determining the present and future direction of the association. It's the best place to come and learn and ask questions. The board meets at least twice a year.
