Join the PTMBAA for our fall community service event, a food drive that will benefit three local charities dedicated to solving hunger in the greater DC/Baltimore region: Capital Area Food Bank, Manna Food Center and Maryland Food Bank. Join D.C. area part time MBA programs for "Friendsgiving", an evening of networking and professional development while enjoying great food and drinks. Expand your network with part time MBA students from other DC-area programs and learn a few professional development tips along the way. Come prepared to engage with students from various programs and build strong connections.

Our panel of entrepreneurs will recall their own stories of success while also offering tips to students on how to begin their own businesses. Panelists include: Merav Yuravlivker, Co-Founder CEO of Data Society; Michelle May, Founder and CEO of Shenami; and Don Baker, Founder and Chief Funding Guide of FundingTrek.

Only students with a Universities at Shady Grove ID are eligible. Smith students taking classes at USG will need to go to the OIT located on the second floor of Building 3 to get their ID number.
Please note that the USG ID is separate from your University of Maryland ID number.

Meals on Wheels Thanks Smith MBA Team
Team addresses demographic trend affecting the company
Meals on Wheels America CEO Ellie Hollander thanked a team of part time MBA students including Alan Brylawski, Mark Davis, Lauren Hayden, Christina Rickman, Renee Maton and Laura Scruggs, for their contributions to fight hunger.
For their Creativity in Business class, the team completed a consulting project addressing a demographic trend affecting Meals on Wheels: demand for their services are increasing while volunteers are aging. The team developed a volunteer growth strategy with solutions designed to increase youth participation in the program.
Alan Brylawski presented the team's findings to CEO Ellie Hollander and the executive board.
