The counselors at Voyager Middle School in South Everett have identified some families that really need assistance for Christmas. We have adopted one such family: the Kartak family. Kathryn Kartak is a 63-year-old mother of three kids. They don't have much and we can help them feel the warmth of Christmas by showing them some love.
We have gift tags hanging on a Christmas tree on our information table. Please grab one and buy a gift for a child or the mother. If you aren't local and still want to help, please email Jen Otto and she can give you details for who to buy for and how to deliver it to us.
If you'd like to donate money for us to buy something, feel free to donate at
Please return gifts and tags by Sunday, December 18
Saturday, December 24 @ 5pm
Join us for a family-oriented Christmas tradition. We gather each Christmas Eve for a short (30 minute) worship gathering. We sing the story of Christmas through the classic carols and end with the candle lighting. And we bookend the whole thing with a hot cocoa bar! Don't miss the fun!
It's a weird year with Christmas & New Year's Day falling on a Sunday. We normally take the last Sunday of December OFF as a "Volunteer Appreciation Day" but made some changes in light of this unusual year. Be sure to follow the schedule so you don't show up all by yourself. Happy Holidays!
We know many of you rely on your tax-deductible giving come tax season in a few months. Just a reminder to make sure you donate whatever you want reflected on your 2016 Giving Statement before the year ends on December 31.
