 Join Vermont Human Resource Association's seminar, The Secret Rules of YOUR Workplace, December 14th from 8:00AM to 10:30AM at the Hampton Inn in Colchester. As HR and management professionals, we strive to ensure that our employees understand the policies, procedures, and processes of the workplace. There may be, however, an aspect of work that we assume everyone understands - the secret rules. Each workplace has them. While many may be shared across organizations, there are other rules that are company-specific and may be related to socio-economic class. How much thought have we given to identifying and communicating those secret rules? Do we understand and appreciate the differences between the generationally impoverished, working, and professional classes in terms of the secret rules each uses? As a key linchpin to our organization's and employees' success, it is important that we learn how to recognize and appreciate the differences between these secret rules. The Secret Rules program will provide you with ways to uncover the rules we take for granted as well as how to best orient and support staff members in learning and living with them.
