Parent/Teacher Conferences

I sincerely hope that all of you were able to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teacher, celebrate your child's progress and discuss areas of strength and concern.  During this Thanksgiving season I would like to take a moment to express how grateful I am to be associated with the families and staff here at Westside Elementary. As an administrator, I am thankful for students who work hard to learn, parents who encourage their children to do their best, and teachers who are dedicated and truly care about each child. I am thankful for a PTO that does all they can to make our school a great place to be. Thank you for your help and support. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Stuff the Turkey Food Drive 2017

Westside Elementary would like to help our local Reedsburg Area Food Pantry by sponsoring our sixth annual "Stuff the Turkey" food drive during the week of November 6-10. Please help us make a difference in our community by contributing a non-perishable food item to help “stuff” our turkey in the main lobby.    Thank you for your support of this community service project.

Reminders

Notify the office if you have a phone number or address change. It is important that we be able to contact you in case of an emergency. Be sure that your voice mailbox is set up and that it is able to accept messages. Many times we are unable to contact parents because either the voice mailbox is not set up, or it is full and cannot accept messages.  If your child is going to be absent from school, contact the school office at 768-8934 by 8:30 am. We encourage you to keep your child's going home plans as routine as possible. If plans change, send a note to school with your child or call the school office before 2:30 pm. Cold weather season is fast approaching. Dress your child appropriately for the temperature. If you need assistance with providing winter clothing for your child, contact Mr. Bierman at (608) 963-5278.
