In case you missed the announcement during the service on December 18, we wanted to share the happy results of Building for the Future's "Finish Strong" campaign to balance the building project budget by the end of 2016. You can watch the full announcement at
our new Vimeo page.
Back on November 6, our goal was to raise $76,379 to close the building project funding gap. As of last week, your generosity has provided $76,977, or 100.1% of our goal. Thank you!
How are we doing balancing the overall budget?
Today, this number - $4,729,510 - is our budget and it is matched by our resources. Once again, thank you.

What Lies Ahead?
One note of caution - those of you who have run projects like this before know that we are not home free yet. There will be surprises ahead. Anticipating this, we have a contingency fund built into the budget and a Plan B as a back-up. Plus, we will continue to welcome new pledges as we go along.
Asbestos removal and interior demolition have been completed. The next stages of the construction process will begin when we have final permits from the City of Denver, which we should receive in January 2017. As we get more project photos and updates, we will post them
online
.
Much work remains in 2017, but we are going into the new year with momentum and a balanced budget for this project. Without your incredible generosity and commitment to the success of this project and the future of our congregation, we would not have accomplished as much as we have.
May your holiday season be filled with love and kindness.
