MEGA Training
Bee Cave District Megatraining
Saturday, September 23 at LDS Chapel (Bee Cave Rd)

This annual event has been a hit every year, and the easiest way to help your leaders (both new and continuing) earn their "Trained" patch for their position without having to travel far. Many classes are being planned, with a focus on Cub Scout and Boy Scout Position-Specific Training. Be sure to have your membership materials include this date for your new leaders, or leaders taking on new positions!

Save the Date: Webelos Woods
Saturday, September 30, 2017

Cub Scout Leaders: be sure all your Webelos Scouts and parents have this date penciled in on their calendar. This annual event is the easiest way for all our Webelos Scouts to check out the Boy Scout Troops in our District in one Scoutcraft-filled event! It's time to find out what youth-led adventure really means for the boys, and for Webelos parents to hobnob, nosh and visit with Troop leadership to help their son find the "right" Troop for them.

Save the Date: District Rocket Launch Day
Saturday, October 21 at Lake Hills Church

Join Cub Scout Packs from across the District on Saturday, October 21 for our District Rocket Day! This is the time for all your new Cub Scouts to come launch their rockets (and of course all your Cub Scouts are invited to bring their rockets as well).

We will need three volunteers from each Pack that is participating to arrive early and help set up at 9:30 AM; first launch will be at 10:00 AM and we'll launch until we're done! Extra launch pads and work tables are welcome.
