REGIONAL SPOTLIGHT: PREPARING FOR
THE HOLIDAYS

Wander through the winter village to see how people got ready for the holiday season in the 19th century. Interact with the villagers as they demonstrate a variety of activities, including: soap making, candle making, wool spinning and meat preserving. THE VILLAGE GALLERY
Located at 3119 Main Street in Caledonia, The Village Gallery is an art gallery, art library, and studio. The gallery features paintings by owner Bill White and photography by owner Linda White. The art library is open to the public during normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.
The gallery's Annual Community Art Exhibit exhibit is currently on display, and showcases work from local artists. It will be on display from November 1 through December 3rd.

The concert explores various subsets of the quintet, with Marion Bauer's "Duo
for Oboe and Clarinet", Madeleine Dring's "Trio for Flute, Oboe, and Piano",
and Aaron Copland's "Duo for Flute and Piano", which features new flute
instructor Emlyn Johnson. "To the Dark Wood", a quintet by George Rochberg,
rounds out the afternoon.
