Coach  Spotlight
Michelle Vaughan
Michelle Vaughan
Michelle has been with Buddy Baseball for ten seasons. Michelle and her husband Wayne volunteered as coaches after their son Sammy spent a season as a buddy. They have coached the Mustangs ever since. They love that they have been able to keep their core team for years. They consider those families valued friends now. Michelle sends out a Mustang Mail newsletter on a weekly basis with pictures from the last game and highlights of our players' accomplishments.  Michelle also assists with the End of Season Party, the Buddy Training and leads our coaches meeting before the season starts.

Michelle and Wayne just celebrated their 20th anniversary on a cruise with 17 friends and family. They have four children.  Michelle works at Ceridian as a benefits manager and has worked in the Human Resources field for over 10 years.  Michelle is a big Rays fan and in her spare time she loves to read - preferably at the beach.
Volunteer Spotlight - Dave Wills
Dave Wills
Dave has generously donated his time by announcing Buddy Baseball games since 2014. He has been the Tampa Bay Rays radio broadcaster for the past 13 seasons.  Dave grew up outside of Chicago in Oak Lawn, IL. He is the oldest of five children. Dave played one year of basketball and three years of baseball at Elmhurst College. His first job was a newspaper delivery boy.  When Dave was 22, he did his first baseball broadcast.  It was an eight year olds All Star game on Multimedia Cablevision.  At age 25, Dave was the head baseball coach of the University of Chicago.  Another fun fact about Dave, he ALMOST worked for Jerry Springer.

He and his wife, Elizabeth, have a son, Alex, and a daughter, Michelle. They reside in Lutz.  It's always a pleasure to have Dave out to the games.
Where are they now?
Andy Hannaway
Andy began playing Buddy Baseball when he was 10 years old in the fall of 2010 as a player on the Hawks.  Andy played through the spring 2012. Playing Buddy Baseball was the beginning of Andy's love and passion for the game. He went on to play youth league in his home town of Brooksville and in high school.  Andy tried out and made the junior varsity baseball team playing two years and is now in his senior year and second year of varsity baseball. Andy loves the game of baseball with it all beginning with his participating in Buddy Baseball.
