Truly "Friends For Life"

A couple shout-outs to some special Friends For Life:
  • A Crew member saved the day for a Rider at Allan Gardens by stopping a potential bike theft just before our departure.
  • A 1-Day Rider offered his bike for the rest of the week to a 6-Day Rider after his bike suffered debilitating mechanical problems.

Thanks Friends For Life!

Day 2: Check - Now Bring on Dress in Red Day!
Welcome to Day 2 camp heroes! You're all amazing. Today was a long ride and you deserve to relax - after you set up your tent that is! It was great to be greeted in Cobourg by Deputy Mayor John Henderson and to received from of Prince Edward County's finest bottled water in Picton by Mayor Robert Quaiff and members of council.

Hopefully many of you did not get wet. Good news - it was just a short shower!

Tips for Tomorrow
  • It's Dress in Red Day tomorrow and we know you will look fabulous as we ride into Kingston. Pull out the dresses, boas and glitter and let's paint the route to Kingston red!
  • Tomorrow is our shortest day - only 51km - and it marks the halfway point of the Bike Rally.
  • Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the water.
  • Before enjoying an amazing buffet lunch at Queen's University, make sure you check-in to your room - instead of a tent we'll be sleeping on a comfy bed!
  • Wellness will provide chiropractic and massage treatments from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • When you check-in, you will receive your room key, but your room won't be available until after 1:00 p.m. - so go enjoy lunch first.
  • After 1:00 p.m. take your bike to your room and keep it there for the night. It will be safe there!
  • Your bins will be unloaded and ready for you the Leggett Hall Quad. Pull out only what you need for your time in Kingston and your Day 4 clothing. Your bins can stay where they are. NOTE: To access your bins from 7 p.m. on you will be required to show your Bike Rally ID to security.
  • A reminder - if you wish to speak at the Candlelight Ceremony at Day 4 camp, please see Todd Davies, Ted Robinson or Mike Twamley.
