Karma Classes

S upport our student teachers and charity by coming out to our  Karma class on Wednesday, January 4 at 10:45 am and Friday, January 13 at 5:45 pm.

Karma Classes are free (donation based) Yoga classes. A minimum donation of $5.00 is recommended. All proceeds are donated to charity. This month proceeds will be donated to Villa Rosa which is a prenatal and postnatal residence in Winnipeg.

Go to the Book Online Tab to reserve your mat space or drop in for this free class. Drop in's are based on space available upon arrival.

Your pass will NOT be charged.  
Yoga for Round Bodies
 
If you are yoga shy and would like to try yoga in an non-competitive environment, register for Yoga for Round Bodies. The session begins Monday, January 9 until Monday, March 6.

Intro to Kids Yoga Teacher Training
Serene Yoga Studio has partnered with the Louis Riel School Division Continuing Education (LRSD Continuing Ed) to provide Intro to Kids Yoga Actions Teacher Training (Module 1) on Sunday, February 12 from 9:30 to 12:30 at Arts and Tech Center, 5 deBourmont Avenue.
 
This 3 hour workshop is for everyone interested in sharing yoga and mindfulness with children and for the educator or caregiver interested in enhancing a child's educational experience through mindfulness and playfulness. Learn how to share yoga inspired activities with children and students in schools, child care centers and at home.
Module 1 is part of a multi-level Teacher Training program offered by Serene Yoga Studio. Participants can choose to apply the hours accrued from Module 1 towards certification in Kids Yoga Actions Teacher Training.

Teacher Training 2017/2018
If you are interested in deepening your practice or becoming a yoga teacher, Serene Yoga is offering a 2 year Teacher Training program.

Registration begins in mid January for 2017/18 and the program starts in September. Applicants must speak with one of the program facilitators before registering to discuss previous yoga experience.
