Legends Play Here

Look for these legends at the 2017 Boeing Classic:

Billy Andrade: The winner of four PGA Tour events, he has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, and is an active contributor to charities in partnership with fellow PGA Tour pro, Brad Faxon.

Billy Mayfair: The winner of five PGA Tour events, including the 1995 Tour Championship. Mayfair has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings, going as high as 26th in 1996. He is also the only player to ever beat Tiger Woods in a playoff on the PGA Tour (1998 Nissan Open).

Jose Maria Olazábal: The Spaniard has enjoyed success on both the European Tour and the PGA Tour. He has earned more than 20 career titles and won two major championships - both at The Masters - in 1994 and 1999. Had Olazábal beaten Ian Woosnam at The Masters in 1991 (he finished second), he would have become the World No. 1.

Ian Woosnam:
In 1991, he reached the top of the Official World Golf Ranking, eventually spending a total of 50 weeks as World Number 1. In the same year, Woosnam won The Masters and became the first person representing Wales to ever win a major championship. He was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame and will be inducted in September 2017.
New This Year:
Chateau Ste. Michelle
Wine Pavilion
Thanks to Chateau Ste. Michelle's sponsorship of this year's Boeing Classic, spectators can visit a new venue called the Wine Pavilion.

The outdoor oasis is where wine enthusiasts will have the chance to enjoy the PGA TOUR Champions event and breathtaking scenery while sipping on some of the Pacific Northwest's premier wines.

The Wine Pavilion will be located near the main entrance and adjacent to the very popular Ivar's concession area.
National Anthem to be Sung by Young, Aspiring Vocalist
People in attendance at this year's Boeing Classic Opening Ceremony on Friday, Aug. 25 at 11:00 am will be treated to the National Anthem as sung by 8-year-old Max Ferrer of Brier.

The second grader loves to sing. He started singing Disney tunes when he was three and is already winning awards for performing what is considered one of the toughest songs to sing.

"The hardest part of the anthem to sing is 'o'er the land of the free' because it's really high," admitted the young, acapella vocalist in an interview with KING 5 TV.

Ferrer recently beat out 16 other singers, all of them older, in a contest to sing the anthem at 4th of July festivities in Edmonds this year.

Although Boeing Classic will be the first professional sports event Ferrer will sing at, he is excited about the opportunity to entertain his largest audience to date and hopes it's one more step toward a much bigger stage in his bright future.
Media Sponsors Instrumental to Helping Promote Event
