Hilhi Girls Soccer Team Surprises Rival Team with Donation
When the Hilhi Girls Varsity Soccer team played Hood River Valley High School in September, they decided to give "secret sister" gifts to the players and also go donate $500 for them to use at their discretion to help their school and community rebuild after the Eagle Creek Fire. They recently heard from that team's coach about the results of their generosity.

Thank You, Veterans!

Veterans Day is this Friday, Nov. 10. All of us at the Hillsboro School District offer our sincerest thanks to everyone who has served our country!

This fall, approximately 700 HSD students in grades K-5 received brand new clothes through the Assistance League of Greater Portland's Operation School Bell Program. Next to be served will be students in grades 6-12 because, as the Assistance League's motto states, "no child should wear poverty to school." We are deeply grateful to the partnership we have had with the Assistance League since 1998!
