December Business & Industry of the Month

Michael's Tire Shop opened in Selmer in 2015, by the end of 2015 they had outgrown their building and expanded to their new location. Owned and operated by Dan and Tammy Michael, this full service tire and specialty shop has five employees that can serve all of your mechanical needs. When they aren’t putting on tires or changing oil they are organizing food and supply drives for the victims of the Louisiana floods, raising money for the local elementary schools, or  donating to the sports clubs and civic clubs across the county. They are involved in many fundraisers throughout the year and try to put back into the community that helps support their business. It’s because of Michaels Tire's love and compassion for their community and their investment that we recognize Michael's Tire as the McNairy County December business of the month.

Do-All Machining and Tooling Company is located in Selmer. Owned and Operated by Jack and Ty Davis, they have over 50 years of experience in the industry. They can fabricate and deliver the parts needed to keep your company up and running. Do-All is a supplier to many of the industries in and around McNairy County. Their company started as a part-time operation and as business picked up quickly became a full-time operation. In 2002 they moved into their current facility which is located in the Selmer North Industrial park. They have four employees, all who are skilled machinist. Its local entrepreneurs like the folks at Do-All, along with all of our other fine industrial partners that keep a local community thriving. They have been a long standing member of the Chamber and we are proud to recognize Do-All Machining and Tooling Company as our December industry of the month.
Saturday we celebrated Faded Charm's expansion paired with a Christmas Open House. Faded Charm now provides salon services with stylists  Savannah Jones and Lauren Elaine Miller. The boutique features men, women, and children's apparel. Faded Charm also features tanning with various beds including red light therapy beds. We are proud of these girls and the growth they have experienced as a small business in McNairy County.
You're invited to the Arts in McNariy and McNairy County Chamber Christmas Open House at the Latta Building in Selmer. We are blessed to share this space with such a talented group of people. Selmer Finance Company
Selmer Finance Company was started in the early 1960's and managed by Frank Heel. In the late 1960's, the business was bought by Frank and Muriel Heel. Always a hometown family business, Frank Heel managed SFC until his retirement in 1989. At that time his daughter Jere Burton purchased and operated Selmer Finance continuing the family business. In 2014, Dina Mitchell purchased Selmer Finance and in continuing the tradition of a hometown person business in McNairy County. We are thankful for Selmer Finance's continued investment in McNairy County.
