Three Hour Guided Meditation: Thursday, August 3
We will hold a 3-hour guided meditation from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This guided meditation will not include kirtan. All are welcome.

Please note the following schedule changes from August 4 - 11 during Convocation week:
- We will not have our monthly Seva, which is usually held on the first Sunday of the month.
- Gita Study will not be held on Friday August 4, and on Friday August 11.
- Lessons Study will not be held on Wednesday August 9.
Regularly scheduled Sunday and Thursday services will be held.

Birthday of Bhagavan Krishna
Monday, August 14 from

On Monday, August 14, we will hold a special service in honor of the birth of Bhagavan Krishna. The meditation service will begin at 7:00pm, and the commemorative service will begin at 8:00pm. Please bring a flower and a free will donation in a sealed envelope, as symbols of devotion and loyalty to the work of Self Realization Fellowship.
The birthday of Krishna is celebrated according to the Indian lunar calendar. It falls on the eighth day of the waxing moon between mid-August and mid-September.

SRF Center Representatives' Conference: Wednesday, August 9
This year's conference will be held in the California Ballroom of the Bonaventure Hotel on Wednesday, August 9
th
, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.
The conference will provide an opportunity to become more familiar with our Guru's spiritual ideals for Self-Realization Fellowship centers and meditation groups. This year the overall theme for the event will be,
"Leading Services in Centers, Groups and Circles."
Boston Center Social: Wednesday, August 9, 5:30pm
All who are attending convocation are warmly invited to attend our Boston Center Social, held on the 4th floor patio of the Bonaventure Hotel. Because of the many dietary preferences among group members we ask that you bring your own dinner and beverage. Dessert will be served.

Save The Date - Annual Footsteps Tour!
Sunday, September 17
The tour bus will leave from the Boston Center in Somerville at 1:15pm and return at 5:30pm. The cost is $25 per adult and $10 per child. We accept payment by check, and cash on the day of the tour.
All checks should be made payable to Boston Center of SRF, with "Footsteps Tour" on the memo line.
We encourage you to register early as the bus fills up quickly.
There are three ways to register:
(1) Write your name and contact information on the sign up sheet in the lobby of the Boston Center and place your check in the locked box in the lobby.
(2) Mail your check to the address below. Make sure to include the following information: name, email address, and number of adults and children in your party.

Lessons Study: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 8:15pm.
We now offer group Lesson Study every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Lesson study will be held in the house behind the Boston Center. Phone service is available.
This Lessons Study is available for those who have already taken or are currently taking the Self Realization Fellowship Lessons from the Mother Center in Los Angeles, CA. Please bring your lessons study card.
If you are not already a lessons student, you may apply for the lessons on the SRF website or pick up an application in the lobby.

Bhagavad Gita Study Group: Every Friday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm
The Bhagavad Gita Study Group meets every Friday. The meditation takes place from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, and reading from the Bhagavad Gita from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.
Please join us for the study of the Bhagavad Gita, God Talks with Arjuna: The Immortal Dialogue between Soul and Spirit, translation and commentary by Paramahansa Yogananda.
Meetings are held in the house in back of the Boston Center. You may bring your copy of the Bhagavad Gita or borrow one for use that evening. All are welcome.
