Senior Corps =
Good for Your Health
Senior Corps service strengthens communities, and helps its volunteers lead active, healthy lives. Today, we can start to see just how healthy.
After their first year of service, Senior Corps volunteers report improvements in their health, physical capacity, anxiety, loneliness and social isolation, and life satisfaction.
Senior Corps volunteers have made a commitment to country and community through volunteer service, using a lifetime of skills and experiences.
Friends Foster Grandparent and RSVP Program volunteers are giving back and staying healthy at the same time.

Note from the Executive Director
.
For as long as I can remember vacation has been part of my families' annual calendar. As a child with my parents, and then as a parent with my children, the Sinclair tribe has driven, flown, trained, bussed and cruised to many special destinations in the States and beyond to enjoy time away from work and the routine. We have slept in tents, under the stars, in rustic cabins, smelly trailers, Motel 6's and Five Star Hotels on lumpy cots, comfortable enormous beds, car backseats and hard floors. We have visited aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, best friends, cousins and best of all, grandparents. Continue reading

Foster Grandparent & RSVP Federal Funding Proposed to be Eliminated
.
Our Senior Programs are National Service programs, operated under Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) grant funding combined with a local funding match.
The White House
budget request sent to Congress for the fiscal year 2018 budget, starting October 1st, eliminates CNCS and associated programs.
National service is about extraordinary acts of ordinary citizens here in NH. We see this every day in the time given by Foster Grandparents, Caregivers, and RSVP volunteers.
Contact your Congressional
Representative and
Senators today. Let them know that National Service is important to you and New Hampshire. Encourage them to act to ensure that these programs continue to be funded.
Thank you for your support.
