Life happens.  There is no guarantee but it doesn't mean we shouldn't prepare. 

  

I like the Girl Guide version of Be Prepared best: "you have to be prepared at any moment to face difficulties and even dangers by knowing what to do and how to do it."

 

No, we might not be able to know what to do and how to do it for every eventuality but we can prepare for obvious situations.  We bring an umbrella in case it rains.  We back up our computer in case it crashes.  We take out insurance in case we get sick or are involved in an accident.

  

In every situation, it is wise to think about alternatives to our plan on how we might handle them if one of them happens.  BE PREPARED and when life happens you will be able to confidently handle it.
