We have been advised that Palo Alto Lion Bill Downey is terminally ill. Lion Bill Downey is the current Secretary (6th time) and a past president of Palo Alto Lions Club. Lion Bill's family sent this message: "
Please keep my Dad in your thoughts and prayers. The end is nearing. I want to thank all who blessed both my Dad and Mom. The Labor Day Party and Oktoberfest really kept him in a positive state of mind. Thanks for all who helped make those parties happen particularly George and Harry."
Memorial Services for San Francisco Geneva-Excelsior Lion May Wong will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017. viewing will be from 11:30am to 1:00pm with services at 1:00pm at Skylawn memorial Park, Hwy 35 & Skyline Blvd, San Mateo. The family is looking for photos of Lion may Wong, if you have any to share please email the photos to Lion John Hui. Please contact District 4-C4 Cabinet Secretary Venetia Young for additional information.
