Dear Friends,

The Parish Hall was packed on Saturday for the annual Breakfast with Santa! Over 200 people from the Assumption Community came out to feast on a delicious breakfast prepared by our school dads and meet with the big guy in red, Santa Claus.

I would like to thank everyone that made this day such a success. This was truly a community effort.  Thank you for the donations of food, supplies, and funds by our school families.  Your generosity helped to offset the cost of this event for the HSA. The PreK room parents were instrumental in organizing and planning this wonderful day.  The HSA board helped guide the organizers every step of the way.   The Monohan family, once again, was intrumental in creating a winter wonderland and directing the events of the day.

I would like to offer a specail thank you to the dads that worked so hard to prepare breakfast for our 200 guests.  It was a true team effort working out of two kitchens to get the food out on time, keep the trays full, and clean up the kitchen.  I know I speak for all of the dads when I say it was a labor of love and a truly enjoyable, and exhausting morning.

I hope this tradition continues for many years to come.  This event is a community favorite and it helps to bring our families together outside of the traditional school setting.  My hope for these events is to make or strengthen friendships among our parents and students and encourage the family atmosphere we strive for at Assumption Catholic School.

Many Blessings,

Steven J. Santoli

Assumption Student Christmas Concert Next Week
Our Students Light Up the Stage with the Sounds of the Season

The annual Christmas Concert will be next Thursday evening, at 6:30 PM. All students are invited and encouraged to participate and all families are invited to attend this special event.

Mrs. Yoney has prepared a beautiful mix of religious and traditional Christmas music to celebrate the season.  The students have been working hard for weeks practicing and perfecting their parts.

The curtain goes up at 6:30 on Thursday, December 15.  Come support the children and marvel at their talents and joy.

Lifetouch School Picture Retakes
Tuesday, December 13 in the Music Room

Lifetouch will be at school on Tuesday to retake school pictures.  If your child was absent during school picture day or you would like to have their pictures retaken please notify your child's teacher on Monday.

Forms are in the main office and can be picked up by students needing to be photographed for the first time.  Students retaking pictures should bring the photo package previously received with them on Tuesday.

Tuesday is a gym day. If your child is going to be photographed on Tuesday they should be dressed in their full dress uniform, not their gym uniform.
