Value-Added Services Offered by Cypress
Both research and experience have shown us that providing caregiving services for a family member can present many challenges. Experts agree on one thing though: having help and support as a caregiver can make the journey a little easier, not only for you, but for your loved ones too. Cypress was born for this very reason, to offer in-home personal care services to those who need it and an extensive support system for their caregivers. Our website contains information on many subjects related to caregiving.  Here is a good place to start:
Support Groups
On the fourth Thursday of every month (Aug. 25th this month), we offer a family caregiver support group right here in the office. Whether you have specific questions, or just want to connect with other caregivers, we look forward to your R.S.V.P.!
Pet Therapy
For many older adults, their love for pets is still very present but their ability to care for one isn't. Cypress' Pet Therapy dog Lacey can help fill this void.  Check out the many physical and emotional benefits pet therapy can provide.
Cognitive Screening
Trying to determine what's considered a normal part of aging and what isn't can be difficult.  Cypress can help make this distinction . If you have concerns about your or a loved one's memory, call today for a free cognitive screening.
State-of-the-art Training Lab

Since 2005, Cypress has offered free educational and informational training sessions in the Joan S. Roth Caregiver Training Lab. These classes can offer the guidance and resources that family caregivers often start their journey without.

Upcoming Events
Cypress is dedicated to providing our clients and community with all of the resources and knowledge necessary to provide the best care possible to their loved ones. Cypress employees can be found all over the Valley providing services to the community. Check back frequently as we add new events often.
