Jupiter Medical Center Announces New CEO 
Jupiter Medical Center is pleased to announce Donald McKenna will become the organization's new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 2018. McKenna currently serves as the President and CEO of St. Mary's Health Care System in Athens, Georgia - a fully integrated, not-for-profit health care system that includes three hospitals serving 13 counties in northeast Georgia.
 
"On behalf of the Trustees of Jupiter Medical Center, we are proud of this outstanding appointment and confident that we have selected a chief executive who shares our dedication and commitment to ensuring that Jupiter Medical Center remains the leading provider of world-class health care in our region," said Robert J. Based in Dania Beach, the South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum (SFHEF) serves healthcare professionals in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties plus the Treasure Coast. The SFHEF is the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and currently boasts over 650 members.

Santiago Leon, JD, based in Coral Gables, is Senior Consultant/Florida Practice Leader with BenRx Employee Benefits Consultants. In addition to consultation on self-funded health plans, he advises employers on conventional group insurance, professional employer organizations (PEO's) and health promotion programs. He also practiced law for ten years and worked in a number of public and non-profit social service and economic development agencies.
 
In addition to his professional work, he has taken an active role in numerous community activities. He currently serves as a member of the Dr. Antonio Jorge Social and Economic Development Council (SEDC), an advisory committee to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners. He served as chair of the Board of County Commissioners Healthcare Task Force, and was the founding chair of the Worksite Wellness Committee.
 
He is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School
