Little Wonders of Science: The Sun is My Favorite Star

Little Wonders of Science inspires curiosity through stories, play, and special hands-on activities specifically created for children ages 3-5. Held on the third Friday and Saturday morning of every month, the Little Wonders of Science program introduces new STEM topics monthly.

Come early for a special 10am showing in miSci's planetarium of "One World, One Sky" (additional $5/ person), and leave with the materials to continue the study of science at home.

Little Wonders of Science has a $2.00 per child supply fee for children ages 3 years to 5 years old in addition to museum admission. Admission can be pre-purchased online. Members only need to pay the $2 supply fee for children but must present their membership card for admission on arrival.

Little Wonders of Science: The Sun is My Favorite Star

Introduce preschoolers to solar science with an educator-led reading  of The Sun is my Favorite Star by Frank Asch followed by some hands-on  activities.
