Dear friends,
They often say that ten percent of the people do ninety percent of the work, and that is often true. Today I had the pleasure to see a group of our parishioners giving up their
Saturday morning to help make our church campus a little better. We are privileged at Holy Sacrament to have dedicated parishioners to pressure clean and paint and do any number of other jobs that both help our campus to look nice and help our budget by not requiring us to pay others to do the work. To all who came out and participated in our work "party" and helped to feed our workers, I extend a hearty "Thank You!" on behalf of Fr. Tony and myself. For those who were not able to join us today, and who have talents that can benefit the work and ministry of our parish, I encourage you to consider ways that you may be able to give of your time and talent to further our common mission. Imagine what we can accomplish together if Holy Sacrament is able to boast that ninety percent of our people pitch in to do the work we have been called to do.
Many Blessings,
Fr. Jeremy
