The Alachua County Republican Executive Committee's September 22nd meeting, the membership voted, unanimously, to oppose the Wild Spaces Public Places.

Alachua County has placed a heavy emphasis on land conservation and parks and recreation, and that is a good thing.  At this point, nearly twenty percent of land, in our county, is in conservation, and much more than that is off of the tax rolls for many other reasons.

The Alachua County Republican Party recommends a NO vote on Wild Spaces Public Places.
