Given the recent healthcare victory, we understand the inclination to take your foot off the gas, but our work continues. The next fight for Medicaid could come by way of the budget process, a new repeal effort, or even at the state-level. While Members of Congress are in their districts for summer recess,
we need everyone to keep up the advocacy at home.
Summer recess is the perfect time to meet with your legislators to discuss important issues impacting their constituents with autism and other disabilities. Advocate actions are critical -- we need you now more than ever. You can help make a difference by visiting elected officials at their district offices, attending town halls, or taking a stand and sharing your Medicaid story on social media.
Ultimately, you have the power to be a change agent for families affected by autism in your community and around the nation. Your commitment to improving the quality of life for everyone living with autism is the key to ensuring individuals on the spectrum and loved ones have a voice. Are you ready to act?
To locate your elected officials and request a meeting, view the Congressional directory here.
