New Federal Per Diem Rates Released Today!

Dear WH&LA Lodging Member:
Today the federal General Services Administration (GSA) released their new Federal Per Diem Rates for FY 2018, which runs from October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018.
The following are the highlights relating to Wisconsin:
- The WH&LA has updated our Wisconsin Federal Per Diem Rates Fact Sheet, which you may copy for your front desk and other appropriate staff to keep handy. Please note this is for your internal purposes as a WH&LA member service and is not intended for others.
- The counties that have special rates are listed first, with the Continental U.S. ("CONUS") rate listed for all other parts of the state
- The CONUS rate was increased from $91 to $93 starting October 1st.
- The Meals & Incidentals per diem rates stayed the same across the board
- New this year: Dane County and Sheboygan County added seasonal rates
- Madison/Dane County went down the months of Nov., Dec., and Jan. ($115 to $107), but up all other months ($115 to $122)
- Sheboygan County went up the months of Jun., Jul., and Aug. ($94 to $104), but down $1 all other months ($94 to $93)
- Door County went up all months, but more for the months of Oct. 2017 and Jun. through Aug. 2018 ($91 to $99)
- WI Dells/Columbia County went down $1 Oct. 2017 through Feb. 2018, down $9 the months of Jun., Jul., and Aug. 2018, down $27 in Sep. 2018 ($127 to $100), but went up $17 the months of Mar., Apr., and May 2018 ($101 to $118)
