Have You Noticed? Butterflies have been released for the season from the pavilion at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, students are beginning to return for the new term at The Claremont Colleges and before we know it the final Monday Night Concert will rock on Sept. 4th. Oh my goodness, how time flies!
Lainie Kazan will be socializing with guests at
Jazz and Art in the Park the evening of
Sat. August 19 at Garner House in Memorial Park. Although Ms. Kazan will
not be singing at this event (presented by Claremont Heritage) it will surely be an unforgettable evening.

The exhibition will present the work of eight local folk artists driven, not by the art world, but by the instinctive need to create. The museum will be transformed into a carnival of bright colors, iconic images, and spiritual messages.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go
The Alf Museum is located on the campus of The Webb Schools, 1175 W. Baseline Rd., Claremont
Enter campus at the main driveway from West Baseline Road (not Webb Canyon Road).
Although the Alf Museum is open to the public, the rest of The Webb Schools campus is in use as a residential high school and is closed to visitors.
Picnicking is not permitted in or outside of the museum.
Professional photography and video equipment beyond a DSLR or handheld camera are not allowed without prior permission from museum staff. Drones are strictly prohibited on The Webb Schools campus.

Birkenstock store in the Village, Claremont Heights Postal Center at the VONS Center and
Claremont Heritage in Memorial Park. (Selection varies at each site.)
