Sitting volleyball is a paralympic sport created for people with lower body impairments.  Our 10 week program is open to anyone, 14 years and older, who want to try this fun sport out!

2017 PDX SUMMER HANDCYCLING SERIES CONTINUES THRU SEPTEMBER!
 
Portland International Raceway
Portland, OR
Every Tuesday from July 11 - September 26
4:30 - 6:00, track time starts at 5 pm  

We have been having a great time this summer out at PIR-even with all the heat-we have been riding! 
Our handcycling program is geared to all ages and experiences, from beginners to advanced handcyclists. 
Come out to learn how to ride a handcycle, or get out and race an experienced racer! 

It is free to participate, knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to help set up a bike for you to try out.

Challenged Athletes Foundation Grant Season is almost here!
  

September 1st to December 1st is grant season with the Challenged Athletes Foundation! We recommend ALL ATHLETES apply for a grant. Travel grants and equipment grants are given to committed athletes of all abilities and travel grants can be used for transportation to tournaments and/or Nationals. The Adaptive Sports NW office will be open to assist athletes in their grant application process on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Athletes who do not apply for a travel grant may financially responsible for at least one travel/tournament expense.
