Upcoming Classes & Events
Open (Drop-In) Small Group
Thursday, August 17, 7:00 PM in Annex B
Small Group Ministry is an ideal way to connect to others and tend to your heart and spirit at UUCP.  Life can feel like a frenzied struggle against a materialistic world, which leaves us feeling disconnected from our deepest selves and without the energy to reach out in love and service to others. They follow the monthly worship themes and offer a way to engage the themes in your daily life and grow and learn with a group while sharing your own story, insights and learnings.
Maryland School Partnership
Many thanks to the generous donors of school supplies for Maryland School and for those who have signed up to volunteer. Your generosity of time and resources will be so helpful to students and staff. Volunteer sign ups, donations of gift cards for classroom supplies and tax credit donations are appreciated throughout the year. Please contact Cathy Kim below for more information or on how to donate.

Community Night Chefs and Helpers Needed
Calling all chefs! Do you like to cook? Are you looking for a way to use your talents to serve the congregation? Could you commit to cooking for a crowd in the Johnson Room, one  Thursday  night this year? Our Community Night dinners will resume on  September 21 , and we are looking for chefs to make it happen! Come join us to choose a date and plan your meal! Not a cook, but still love Community Night? We also need Sous Chefs to sign up to bring salads, bread and sides. In addition, we could use some extra hands in the kitchen for set up, serving, and assisting chefs. If you attend Community Night, we'd love you to sign up for one night as a host helper! We will have a Community Night Orientation on  Sunday, August 27,  after service in Annex B. Join us for the meeting, or contact Janine Gelsinger, Membership and Welcoming Ministries Coordinator below.
