Emet Comics

From Dan Gvozden (MA '15):

Hey UCLA TFT Alumni. I'm an alumni who works for Emet Comics, a Los Angeles comic book publishing company focused on promoting the role of women both creating and starring in comics. I thought I'd reach out because we are looking to cast two female hosts for a new podcast hosted by our company. The webshow, co-hosted by the two cast women, will discuss a variety of social, political, and entertainment-oriented topics related to the role of women and minorities in comics and pop-culture.

The ideal candidates are experienced at hosting conversations and conducting interviews, are quick on their feet in terms of humor and questions, and are well steeped in the world of comics and entertainment.

If you are interested in auditioning for the role, please email me, Dan Gvozden, at editor@emetcomics.com with the words "Show Application: You Name" in the subject line, a resume, and any pertinent video/audio clips of you (or other podcasts you've been on) that would aid in our ability to discern your hosting experience and knowledge of pop culture.
