Weekend Lineup
Cajun On in SA, Help a Vet in Sealy, Church Picnic Alerts in Weimar and Praha!
The Cajun French Music Association in San Antonio is hosting Ca Va Bien (It's all good!) on Saturday night. Also on Saturday, just found out about this Cody Ledger Benefit. Sgt. Cody Leger and his family have been a part of the Sealy area for over 25 years. He graduated from Sealy High School in 2008 before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne deployed to Afghanistan and Kuwait over two tours, and was planning to re-enlist. A motorcycle accident in March changed his life forever. The benefit is raising funds for his medical expenses. Some great country music featuring the Swingin' On Band with Sonny Rice, Terry Barnett , John Steele, Mary Barnett, and Matlock Rice. Special guest fiddlers Paul Schlesinger and Jeff Duncan.

On Sunday, Czechaholics and The Hit Men bring the music to the Harvest Feast in Weimar. And we all know what happens on Tuesday, August 15. It's the Praha Pout with music by Texas Sound Check, Moravians, and Czechaholics.

Check out DJ Allen Pollard with DanceHall Sounds in Corpus on Friday night, and Kenny James in Webster on Saturday night. Charles & The Fabulous 4 are at the Happy Cousins Dance Club Public Dance in Rosenberg Saturday night. Jodie Mikula Orchestra is in Elgin Sunday. Also on Sunday, Liz Talley & Dusty Spur is at the VFW Hall in north Houston.
