New James Island Community
Sovereign Still
New Leaf Builders is delighted to present a unique opportunity to own a new construction in the heart of desirable James Island. Sovereign Still is a tucked-away 10 acres off Fort Johnson Road, with convenient access both to Folly Road and the James Island Connector and to some of Charleston County's best schools and parks. Harkening back to the whiskey still discovered on the property, Sovereign Still embodies a spirit of good living, resourcefulness and refined taste.

This exclusive, intimate neighborhood will feature 10 semi-custom homes in the 2800 to 3800-square foot range. Home sites are thoughtfully situated on large lots, with ample front and back yards as well as garages. As with every New Leaf project, these traditional Old Charleston-style family homes of brick, frame or stucco will reflect the highest quality construction and building craftsmanship and modern amenities.

Tupelo Bend
A home for New Leaf Builders

We have moved into a home of our own - an office park off Maybank Highway on Johns Island.

New Leaf's office is one of four total buildings that together will make up the low impact development, Tupelo Bend.

The site was designed to work with the current land. "The original land had large grand trees and wetlands, much like most of the land in the Lowcountry," says Grant Zinkon, cofounder of New Leaf Builders. "This served as the design inspiration for the office park."

The office park has several bio retention basins on site to assist with stormwater runoff. The office also utilizes advanced eco-friendly materials including insulated concrete forms (ICF) and radiant roof barriers to help deflect the sun's UV Rays, and with added features like rain cisterns and a community of bees that will act as pollinators for the various plant life on the property.

The second office building of the complex will begin construction in the spring of 2017 with the remaining two buildings beginning construction in 2018. All office buildings will be available for private lease.

Our long list of distinguished, satisfied clients speaks for itself - they can all attest to our superior building and project management expertise.
