A Message from our Director

There's been quite a bit of movement in Naugatuck over the last month or so, and we love to see all businesses flourish!

Last month we celebrated the opening of the beautiful new offices of Stokes Counseling Services over on 16   Hillside Avenue as they moved into their newly renovated and very welcoming home. This past weekend we cut the ribbon on the new location for The Club Health and Fitness, which has grown to 15,000 square feet to better serve their clients in pursuing a happy and health lifestyle (see picture below!). On Monday, we'll celebrate the grand opening of the long-anticipated The Station Restaurant at the Chamber's old office location at  195 Water Street,  which I'm sure will be packed with hungry patrons not long after the opening.

All of this great forward motion in Naugatuck would not be possible without the support of Ron Pugliese, President & CEO of the Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation and the leadership of Mayor Pete Hess and his associates of the B orough of Naugatuck. Thank you to them for all of their efforts in bolstering our local businesses.

I encourage you to patronize these fellow members who have invested in making Naugatuck a thriving place to be! Supporting your neighbors will pay you back in spades.

As always, there is a busy calendar coming up, and this September we look forward to having an Out for Business at Liberty Bank, so be sure to mark your calendar for September 19th! Reach out to me at any time at (203) 757-0701 or at  [email protected] to connect on how we can further support you today.

Thank you,

August Out for Business at Ion Bank
On August 9th, Ion Bank hosted the Chamber's monthly Out for Business event at its branch at 87 Church Street. Chamber members joined in for an evening of networking, food and drink while they enjoyed Ion Bank's location and learned more about the bank and their co-hosts, the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls and the United Way of Greater Waterbury. Some of our attendees also attended the 5:00 PM Buzz Session presented by Jason Healey of J2H Digital Marketing, which covered Search Engine Optimization and how to get your business found on Google. Thank you to all who joined us and made it a great evening!
