CONGRATULATIONS JARED LUBATTI & JASMINE SCOTT
Congratulations to Jared Lubatti and Jasmine Scott who were honored by the Bakersfield Jockey Club as Outstanding Student Athletes in their respective sports - Boys Basketball and Girls Basketball. They received thier awards at a special luncheon at Hodel's on Monday.

PING PONG CHAMPION

Garces teacher, Mark Brown, organized a Ping Pong Tournament on campus. This was not any ordinary ping pong tournament. The tables were not official size and the nets were fashioned out of cardboard - which added to the fun of the event! There was a $5 entry fee and all of the proceeds went to the Salvation Army. Over two weeks, students played at lunch until we got down to the final two - Dylan Simonsen and Joseph Tobias.
Dylan Simonsen came out on top and is the 2016 Garces Memorial Ping Pong Champion!

Congratulations to Garces Ram Jacqueline Clerou who was selected to play in the Girls Water Polo Seniors All-Star Game! The game was Saturday, December 10th.

WATER POLO ALL-STARS WIN
Garces Water Polo players John Starkey, Mason Smith, Patrick Burke, and Hutton Stewart played on the winning team in the Senior All-Star game last Saturday at Redwood High School. They played for the East Yosemite League (EYL) and beat the West Yosemite League (WYL) team. It was the first time the EYL won since the All-Star game began nine years ago. Way to go Rams!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT WAS AMAZING!

Thursday night, the Garces band, under the direction of Scott Smith, put on a Chirstmas concert with all the favorite songs of the season! The audience was treated to Silent Night, Jingle Bells, On This Day the Earth Shall Ring,The First Noel, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Oh Come Oh Ye Faithful, and others! RJ Senining played Let Their Be Peace on Earth and dedicated it to his violin teacher who recently passed away. The students were amazing and those in attendance enjoyed another great night on our campus.
