December 2016

Hello,

The holiday season is always a busy one at RMHCCIN!

The House is covered in twinkling lights and filled with nutcrackers, snowmen and Christmas trees galore! In fact, we recently saw our very first "Deck the Halls" tree decorating contest -- big congrats to our winners, David Rausch Studio!

Our 2nd Annual #GivingTuesday campaign and "Home for the Holidays" open house were both smashing sucesses! We raised more than $42,000
thanks to your help and nearly 150 guests attended our open house. It was a busy and amazing 24 hours -- we wouldn't have it any other way!

2016 has been a big year for us and now, more than ever, we need your continued support. As I type this, the House is at maximum capacity, and in this month alone, we have had to turn away 300 requests for a room at our House due to capacity restraints. The demand for our services is at an all time high. We are so grateful that your generosity and passion for our mission can match this demand and help us in our quest to provide "togetherness" for so many.

Happy Holidays,

Michelle Study-Campbell, CEO

Mission Moment: The Impact of Keeping Families Close

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana's focus is to help ensure that families with sick children are welcomed with open arms and receive the compassion and support they need when their child is hospitalized.

We keep families close to the "good" in this world, as the Cepkauskas family describes in the video above, and it's all because of you.
Thanks to All Who Attended Our "Home For the Holidays" Open House!

A great time was had by all at this year's holiday open house! A big thank you to all who participated -- whether you baked cookies, ate cookies, joined our "Deck the Halls" tree decorating contest or just brought the family for a picture with Santa -- you all helped to make this a very special night. Be sure to visit our Facebook page for photos!
Keeping Families Close

Whether you're a new supporter or you've been with us since the beginning, we thank you for your commitment to our House and the families we serve.

Thank You to Our 2016 Adopt a Room Partners!

Families stay anywhere from one night to several weeks at RMHCCIN and come from Indiana, other states, and around the globe. The cost to provide a night of lodging is $100, but the average donation from a guest is a fraction of that. Gifts from our generous supporters help to bridge that gap and and make sure our doors are open every night of the year.

To show our appreciation, each of our 58 rooms and apartments has a plaque on the door that welcomes our guests and gives the name of the individuals, groups and companies that have provided a gift of at least $5,000 to support a room for one year, or $7,500 to support an apartment for a year. The plaques make sure all of our families know the support that is behind them each and every day.

A big, heartfelt thank you to our 2016 Adopt a Room Partners. Click here to view the full list of room partners.

For more information on how you or your organization can become a room partner, contact Peg Strodtbeck, at
