The Elementary Eagle
Oh Christmas Tree

The Elementary School Christmas tree was decorated by students this year. Kindergarten colored ornaments, First Grade made candy canes, Second Grade painted ornaments, Third Grade colored elves, and Fourth Grade made snowmen.

There's a Chill in the Air...Bundle Up!

As we brace ourse lves for the deep freeze of winter, please remember that students  have  outdoor recess every day the temperature is above 15°, including wind chill.

Please remind your children that they must have snow  pants and boots in order to play in the snow.

Being prepared to brave the elements will make recess so much more enjoyable these cold winter months!

A Month of Giving (Final Week)!

Help Pleasantdale Elementary students, families and staff work towards ending homelessness by donating items during the month of December! All items will be donated to Housing Forward.  Simply bring in items and drop them in the box in the front area of the school.

December 19th - 22nd:
Toiletry Items (travel sizes of lotion, sunscreen, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, q-tips, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.)

Thank you all for your awesome donations! We have collected 399 pairs of new socks, and a huge amount of paper goods! We can't wait to see what more we collect this week and next.
Winter Gear Donations

Preschool could use old snow pants, boots, hats and gl oves. If you are ready to get rid of items that no longer fit your children, please send them our way!

A Message from Mr. Glimco - Principal of PMS

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility!

I miss the days when the holiday gifts I purchased for my children came in big boxes that were a source of play in themselves, no need for batteries or assembly, nor fear of breakage (except from child number 4!).
