LUM Camp 2017 - Best Camp Ever
Thank You to All Who Made It Possible!

Wednesday night during LUM Camp, LUM friends & board members traveled in a LUM bus out to camp at Hanging Rock Assembly Camp in Warren County. When they arrived at camp they met the campers and sang camp songs, and were then treated to an authentic camp supper followed by an ice cream social — sundaes with all the fixin’s. Our guests scooped and served the ice cream to our campers which encouraged more interaction. You could tell that our guests enjoyed returning to their childhood for a few hours and our campers enjoyed having them visit for the evening.

In addition to all of the traditional activities including morning chapel, horseback riding, swimming, nature hikes, boating, arts and crafts, campfires — this year's LUM Camp included interactive and experiential learning focused on our theme, When I Grow Up. Throughout camp, our campers spent much of our week talking about and exploring careers and the educational foundation they will need to secure a future bright with promise. LUM Campers left camp last Friday more inspired and prepared to pursue their future.

Thank you to everyone who helped make LUM Camp 2017 possible. Through your donations, campership gifts, and volunteer time, you have once again made it possible for our LUM Campers to have a positive, life-changing experience that they will remember fondly for the rest of their lives.
