Molson88: Specifically the bigger/boldened text above...I am not fishing for a date or rate or anything but it just struck me as peculiar that Frank would mention this (after 2pm in any time zone) and I have not seen it talked about yet...Maybe it isn't that important to even mention. Like I said, it struck me as peculiar that he would mention this, and I know he says and does everything with a purpose.

I bring you much news today.
First let me say that I don't care who tells you otherwise or what ridiculous story they tell you to substantiate their claim. Read my lips - THE REVALUATION OF THE IRAQI DINAR HAS NOT HAPPENED! The country of Iraq is still mandated to use the provisional rate as dictated by the CBI. This rate is subjected to the market rate of about 1180 - 1300 dinars to the US dollar. I will back up these statements today with FACTS as you read on in today news letter.
Okay so a few banks are now selling and buying the Iraqi dinar once again in the western countries. I do not yet see it in Europe.
If you can remember back before 2011 many of these same banks also exchanged dinar but then soon pulled away from this currency. So you first have to understand why they did this?

I THINK ITS LIKELY THE WINDOW COULD START AT THAT POINT UNLESS THEY CONTINUE TO BLOCK INTERNATIONAL STOCK TRADES UNTIL THE NEW YEAR.
IF AN INTERNATIONAL RATE OCCURRED PRIOR TO THE 28th STOCKS WOULD HAVE TO BE BLOCKED FROM TRADING INTERNATIONALLY IF THEIR PLAN IS TO IMPLEMENT ON JANUARY 1st RIGHT?
SINCE PRESIDENT MASUM RECEIVED THE BUDGET WITH CHANGES ON THE 18 th IT BECOMES LAW EVEN WITHOUT HIS SIGNATURE WITHIN 15 DAYS.
I'M GLAD ITS ALREADY SIGNED.
INTERESTING THAT 15 DAYS TAKES US TO JAN. 2 nd!

The Minister of agriculture region of Kurdistan , Abdul Sattar Majid, Wednesday, that the Government of the Territory will adhere to the law of the federal budget for 2017 in the event of receiving a dollar - plus from direct sales of oil resources.
Majid said in an interview with a number of media , including Alsumaria News, " The meeting was held between the Presidency of the Kurdistan Regional Government and Kurdish blocs in the Iraqi parliament to discuss the paragraphs relating to the Kurdistan Region in the general budget."

I often get calls asking about the Iraqi dinar. Initially, I just dismissed the questions and put-off the requests, informing clients and other investors that we don't employ or recommend currency-based strategies. At the time, this was the result of only superficial research.
However, after a recent question about another foreign currency, the Vietnamese dong, I felt it was time to truly dig into what's going on and write the definitive article on where these currency strategies fit into both retirement and overall investment portfolios.
In my opinion, they don't fit anywhere! Let me reiterate that; the Iraqi dinar and the Vietnamese dong do not fit into a retirement portfolio in any way, shape, or form. Both monetary units are often referred to as "scam" currencies for good reason. Countless warnings and blood soaked war stories are prevalent online, but to my surprise investors continue to fall for it, throwing good money at a very bad idea.
