We are excited to bring on an audiologist that will provide FREE services for people 60 years and older. With these FREE services, this will include hearing aid checks, cleanings, replacing tubes and the testing of hearing.

Glades Initiative Medical Interpreter Training
Don't miss the opportunity to attend the next Medical Interpreter Training by The Glades Initiative, Inc. offered in conjunction with Genesis Community Health.
This training will meet the Joint Commission requirements for trained interpreters at federally funded facilities. It will also meet the initial requirement for interpreters planning to apply for national certification.

FREE Neighborhood Revitalization Course
Palm Beach County's Office of Community Revitalization will offer a five-week, hands-on educational program providing community revitalization and civic leadership development.
The Residential Education to Action Program (REAP) will take place in Belle Glade. The course and all materials are FREE but a commitment for the entire five-week course is required. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trustbridge Provides Free Grief Support in Belle Glade
Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice (you may know us as Hospice of Palm Beach County) has been caring for our community. Our compassionate professionals provide hospice care for families facing serious illness. We also offer grief support to any family that has suffered the loss of a loved one.
Please know, you are not alone in your grief. We are here to support you.
Our Belle Glade Grief Support Group is free of charge and open to the public.

CSD Public Forum Announcement
The Palm Beach County Community Services Department (CSD) will be holding two public forums in an effort to inform our upcoming Financially Assisted Agencies (FAA) Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Health Dialogue to Action
As part of the effort to energize the conversations in the Glades communities, Palm Healthcare Foundation is partnering with Community Partners to conduct Health Dialogue to Action Sessions (also known as study circles). The Community dialogues are designed to create a comfortable environment for small group facilitated dialogue. Conversations will be led by neutral facilitators to insure that interactions are honest, non-confrontational and mutually enhancing.

STEAM 2017: A Conversation with PITBULL
On February 1st, the Palm Beach State College Foundation welcomes PITBULL (Armando Christian Perez) as the keynote speaker for the Foundation's 2017 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) luncheon presented by Bank of America. PITBULL, who is first generation Cuban American is a Grammy award winning music icon and global entrepreneur. He will discuss his life story and the importance of education, which he is passionate about, and the relationship between music, math and science.Net proceeds support STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) programs and student scholarships. Help prepare students for high tech, high demand careers to fulfill the workforce needs of local companies.
