As 2016 comes to a close, we thank you - our champions, our supporters, our friends - for all that you do.
With your support, NEFA makes grants that reach more than 400 artists and cultural organizations each year, providing critical resources totaling 3.5 million dollars.
The National Dance Project (NDP) has awarded $280,000 to support touringby dance companies in 2017-2018. NDP is widely recognized as one of the country's major sources of funding for the creation and touring of dance. Read about our eight new grantees at NEFA.org.

Creative City to Host Info Sessions Across Boston
Creative City program manager Kim Szeto is excited to offer a series of information sessions. Creative City makes grants to Boston-area artists of all artistic disciplines who are taking their practice into the public realm and expanding public participation. These free events are designed to help artists prepare applications. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the program background and the grant guidelines in advance.
Registration is strongly encouraged; sessions may be cancelled if registration is low.

Connect with NEFA at APAP | NYC 2017
The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference in NYC is fast approaching, and NEFA staff will be attending. Be sure to stop at the booth (#122) or join us at the 2017 Dance Forum, Catalyst for Dance Touring: NEFA's National Dance Project hosted by our program director Sara Nash, or the Block Booking Meeting for New England Presenters.
Creative Communities Exchange (CCX) is a two-day training and professional development convening that supports creative entrepreneurs, city planners, small businesses, and the arts sector to apply successful creative economy strategies in their communities.
TODAY is the deadline to apply to lead a workshop at this event!
MISSION NEFA builds connections among artists, arts organizations, and funders, powering the arts to energize communities in New England, the nation, and the world.
ABOUT NEFA The New England Foundation for the Arts invests in the arts to enrich communities in New England and beyond. NEFA accomplishes this by granting funds to artists and cultural organizations; connecting them to each other and their audiences; and analyzing their economic contributions.
