Seasons' Greetings and I hope you are having a joyful and blessed time during our holiday season. AS we are preparing to celebrate the birth of  our Savior in just a few short days, I would like to remind you of what is at the Heart of the Christmas experience....Giving!!!  This past moth and year we have shattered records with our giving of our time and resources toward missions at our churches.  I highly encourage us all to finish strong and please consider signing up to help with upcoming missional responsibilities. We cannot function as a healthy mission minded church without you, and "you" volunteering of your time can change the world.

Taking It To The Streets. Come and help us invite our area neighbors to a meal we offer on the next at our church.
(Would love to have 5 sign up)


Dec 28th 9:30 AM- 1 PM Come and help prepare and serve  the monthly meal that we serve here at FUMC to those whom we consider our neighbors, not only do we prepare it and serve it we also encourage you to sit and eat with each other to build relationships. This is our 9th month of doing this and we can see this has been a huge blessing to reach people that we might not have met.
 (Would like at least 12-15 volunteers)

Special Harvester Food Drop at OUMC
 901 NE Chester Street, come at help to hand out over 5000 Lbs of food to people in need. (15 volunteers needed)

Jan 13th 4:20-6:20 PM 
Serving the supper at the Topeka Rescue Mission.Last month we served over 500 meals at our supper, we really could use your help with this, as the weather gets colder people come in even if only for a warm meal.
