City News Hour July 10, 2017 at 5:30 PM
Every town has that quintessential main street. What could University Avenue look like? What steps could we take to help transform our main street? A strong main street is the heart of a City.  Creating a thriving downtown is no small task for a City. It requires local leaders, business stakeholders and residents to come together to identify our vision, our identity and to showcase our assets to the region. The new Windsor Heights Comprehensive Plan indicates that an additional study for the University Avenue Redesign is necessary to consider the complete streets concept and alternatives.  The City of Windsor Heights and Bolton and Menk invite you to attend the University Avenue Redesign Kick-Off Meeting at the City News Hour on July 10, 2017 at 5:30 pm at the council chambers at 1133 66th Street. https://www.facebook.com/events/386547028407959/

Sunset Terrace Update
70th Street to 73rd Street
The Contractor will be continuing roadwork the week of July 10th. The Contractor will be pouring driveways early in the week, along with backfilling behind the curb and pouring pedestrian ramps.

66th Street to 68th Street
The Contractor will begin installing water services from the new watermain on the south side of the street to the right-of-way near the end of the week of July 10th. When the new water services are connected to the existing service, there will be a time when your residence will be without water. This should be a short period. If you experience any issues with water pressure or have rust or dark colored water, please stop running the water and call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719. He will assist you with the process. The Contractor will also run water from the outside spigot during water service connection.

The Contractor plans to work Saturdays, if weather permits. All work is weather dependent. Any questions call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719.
