Tynesha Taylor '17 takes challenges and makes them successes

Tynesha Taylor '17, a St. Catharine Academy Trustee Scholar, can be seen making a difference on the court, in the  classroom, and in the community. President of the National Honor Society, Tynesha credits the Trustee Scholar Program with keeping her at St. Catharine's.
One of five children, she says her single mother, who is deaf, works very hard to keep everyone in Catholic school working as a teaching assistant at the Lexington School of the Deaf. "Among all the schools, St. Catharine's is just home to me," Tynesha says. "Big high schools in general, sometimes you are just seen as a number. Here the administration knows your name."
