  • The Saskatchewan Library Association is pleased to announce that Carol Todd has been contracted to work in the area of Communications.  This is a new position and the role and processes will be evolving over the next couple of months.  Members will meet her as she begins to work on messaging with each program. Carol comes to SLA with extensive experience in communications and journalism.  Welcome to the library community, Carol!
  • The Exhibitor, Advertising, and Sponsorship Prospectus is now available on the website.  Please take a look to determine how you might want to be involved in the conference. Delegate registration will be out in late February.

  • Accommodations - Elk Ridge Resort. 
  • Be sure to request the SLA Rate and to be put on the rooming list. Option includes:  rooms in the lodge, or cabins, cottages, or townhouses for groups of 2 or more (this is definitely the economical way to stay).
  • Note:   The Mary Donaldson Lecture is on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with the President's reception to follow at Elk Ridge. Bill Waiser has been selected to deliver the Mary Donaldson Memorial Lecture on May 3, 2017. Read more about Bill.
  • Conference registration will be open from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  that day.
  • Presenter submissions are due on Thursday December 15, 2016.
  • Delegate Registration will open in late February. Watch for it!!

  • The Education Institute is looking for speakers for the webinar programs.  Also the Bright Young Minds (BUM) series is open to a student presenter and provides an honorarium.  If you have a presentation for either the regular series or BYM, please contact:
