This is a bit later in the day than I had planned, but we start school next week and I didn't want to wait any longer! It's been fun seeing so many of you and your students stopping in to turn in paperwork and get schedules. Read on for everything you need to know before school starts . . .

REMINDER: We are CLOSED Friday, August 11 & Monday, August 14
Your students receive schedules and locker assignments through TOMORROW, August 10 after:
  • you complete, sign & return these linked forms . The forms can be filled out on your computer then printed and signed or printed and filled out by hand. One of the forms confirms that you have read and understand the Student Handbook which is linked here. The parking permit form needs to be filled out whether your student is driving to school or not. Choose the proper paperwork link for your student:

  • accounts are up to date
  • FACTS payment plan is set up.
  • physicals are turned in.
  • SENIORS have turned in a shot record.

School Supplies

As promised, we have put together a class-specific list of supplies. In addition to this list, plan on spiral notebooks and pocket folders for each class and pens/pencils/highlighters for writing. On the first full day of classes, teachers will also let the students know any other supplies they will need.
Concessions: A Great Way To Meet Your Central Catholic Family
The SignUp Genius schedule for football concessions volunteers is set up and waiting for you to, well, SingUp. This is a great way to meet your Central Catholic Family and to have a great time supporting your school. Thank you in advance for helping out!
Senior Class Charity Car Wash SATURDAY
Bring your dirty car to our circle drive between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. SATURDAY, August 12 and let our Senior Class clean it up for you. Donations are accepted and all proceeds benefit our Senior Class Charity, The Crisis Nursery. Thank you in advance for your support!
Freshmen & New Student and Parent Orientation SUNDAY
Freshmen, new students, parents of freshmen, and parents of new students make it a point to come to our N ew Student and Parent Orientation on SUNDAY, August 13 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This is an informative introduction to life at Central Catholic. Our Student Ambassadors will help students with locker, computer, and schedule questions and much more. Parents will learn about academic, social, and spiritual expectations from Mr. Foster and have an opportunity for questions and answers. A light reception follows the presentations at approximately 6:15 p.m.

Freshman/Senior Cookout & Welcome Back Dance
Our annual Freshman/Senior Cookout kicks off the evening at 6:00 p.m. outside behind our cafeteria This event is open to Freshmen and Seniors only and is a great opportunity to get to know each other. We'll move inside the cafeteria after the cookout for our all-school Welcome Back Dance at 8:00 p.m. The dance has a $3 admission charge but freshmen are free. Proceeds from the dance go to our Senior Charity, The Crisis Nursery

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO AFTER DROPPING OFF YOUR STUDENT???
Come to the Knights of Columbus "Farewell To Summer Bash." It's from 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at 1706 RT Dunn Dr in Bloomington on the 26th and features the music of Sweetwater from 7:00 - 10:00. Proceeds support the Knights' Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund. Click here for more information.

Driver's Education Information

    This will be a half day concluding with Mass. More information on the schedule in the next newsletter.
  • Wednesday, August 23 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.): Parent Open House
    All parents are invited to come and follow your student's schedule, meet the teachers and find out about class expectations for the coming year.
  • Saturday, August 26 (6:00 p.m.) Senior Freshman Cookout
  • Saturday, August 26 (8:00 p.m.) Welcome Back Dance

Transcript Requests

Now that Skyward Family Access is not available until the start of the school year, if you need a transcript for driver's ed, insurance, etc., please fill out our online Transcript Request Form and allow a few days for processing.

Please see below for the summer schedule. NOTE: If you have an emergency and need something when the school is not open, you can call/text me at 309-533-2200.
