 Guardian Angel Gala Impact

Thank you to all who supported this year's Guardian Angel Gala! With your support, we were able to raise $48,000 that will fund a Continuous End Tidal CO2 monitor for Memorial Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The monitor measures the amount of carbon dioxide the patient exhales. Historically, blood would be drawn to analyze the CO2 levels. For a NICU patient, reducing excessive blood draws saves what tiny amount of blood they do have and reduces their risk for infection.

Nominate Your Guardian Angel

Did a doctor, nurse, other staff member make a difference in your care or the care of a loved one at Memorial Hospital? You can say thanks by making a donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation in his or her name as part of the Foundation's Guardian Angel Program. Recognize your Guardian Angel today by making a donation of your choosing and writing a brief note describing the care they provided. Guardian
Angels receive a pin they can wear with  pride as well as the note you provide.

Thumbs Up for Bill 5K Impact

The 2016 Thumbs Up for Bill 5K raised almost $3,000 for the Oncology Patient Fund at Memorial Hospital! The Thumbs Up For Bill Fund and 5K race were created to assist cancer patients at Memorial Hospital and honor our friend, medical staff member, and fellow runner, Bill Gasparrini, who passed away after a hard-fought battle with terminal, inoperable cancer. Specifically, we assist patients with nutritional supplements and prescription medications. We also use the money raised to provide gas cards to cancer patients, which ensures they will have transportation to and from chemotherapy, radiation therapy, radiology, lab services, and physician appointments.
