It feels like the season is in heavy roll - my tomato plants put on a vertical like the MN Lynx, blueberries exploded, and the flavor of the day awaiting us on Thursday is Orange Creamsicle: Get yours here.

Are we lucking out or what?

This week the WBABA Parade swings into action Wednesday night down White Bear Avenue pointing in almost a straight line to where we will gather the next day for Member Meeting at Culver's

Don't miss workshops with Mike Schwartz and Steve Ledin this week, and the Urban Pollinator Event with Lower Phalen Creek Project on Saturday. Great things are taking form, blooming, and finding fruit. Enjoy the abundance this week,

CERT for All Small Businesses

Benefits of the CERT program are undeniable, so says Arif Ahmed, owner of Ali Mama's Sambusas, a restaurant on the East Side. But there can be challenges in getting set up to be CERT certified. On July 26th, one on one assistance in navigating the process is coming to us.

CERT qualifies you for the priority vendor list for things like the Super Bowl coming in 2018 and for vendor contracting with cities and counties. Assistance for Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Woman Business Enterprises (WBE) will be available at the workshop. Contact Paris if you have questions.
