Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets
1609 19th Ave,  Seattle, WA 98112
206-726-8500

Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets (PSKS) supports homeless and at-risk youth and young adults to lead positive and self-sufficient lives. We are the resource for young people experiencing homelessness up to age 29 on Capitol Hill, and we are often the last chance for a young person to avoid becoming chronically homeless as an adult.

Our frontline services are designed to invite youth off the streets by offering a welcoming and low-barrier environment, along with access to shelter, meals, free clothing, showers, and laundry. Low-barrier means we do not turn someone away for things like not having ID or having a pet companion. For the long-term, PSKS prioritizes growth opportunities such as involvement in advocacy, education, and employment support. We call our youth and young adults "participants" because they are active, engaged members of our organization and community.

On Thursday, September 14th from 5:30-8:30 PM PSKS is hosting a special fundraising event at the Tom Douglas Palace Ballroom. Join us for an evening filled with delicious food prepared by the Tom Douglas team, wine and other refreshments, a silent auction and fundraising for homeless youth and PSKS programs. Details at www.psks.org or contact [email protected]

Moonraker [moon-rey-ker] is a nautical term, referring to a rare sail used on clipper sailing ships. The Moonraker would be at the top of the mast, and it was also called a moonsail, hope-in-heaven, or hopesail.

Moonraker Creative, launched in 2014 under a prior name, has operated out of The Cloud Room since early 2015. When Marc Lawrence joined Bez Palmer in partnership at the end of 2016, Moonraker Creative effectively doubled in creative capacity and has since been serving a growing list of clients as indispensable partner and creative resource. Although the firm is relatively young, Bez and Marc represent a depth of experience in their field spanning several decades. They are passionate in their creative endeavors, delivering effective-and beautiful-graphic solutions with the intent to please clients and audience alike. From kickoff to completion, clients know their best interests are taken to heart.

Moonraker Creative believes the best solutions often come from a lighthearted, playful approach to the work that is Design; even so, a principal of unending, concerted improvement is their north star. Through creative ideation and iterative design process, their goal is to up-level every brand touchpoint or visual communication piece to a state of optimal effect. Branding, Advertising, Marketing, Promotional, Information Design (info graphics & data visualization), Websites, UI/UX, Print Design, in these many ways across a variety of business verticals, Moonraker Creative offers a depth of talent, ability, and experience-they get the job done, and they get it done right (with a smile).
